Plug and blanking cap from the Aignep MIST FIT series — closing off an unused port. The tube is pushed into the connector by hand, with no tools; a toothed ring holds it and an O-ring seals it.
The shape is chosen to suit the geometry of the installation: angled connectors save space next to the machine, T and Y allow branching with no additional parts, and reducers give a transition between different tube diameters.
The connector is chosen according to the outside diameter of the tube and the thread size on the machine. The wrong combination is the most common cause of leaks in a pneumatic installation.
