Omega Air · TD 420M series · timer drain · time-controlled discharge
Timer control opens the valve at set intervals, whether or not condensate is present. The solution is simple and inexpensive, but some compressed air is lost on every cycle.
Time-controlled discharge. The drain is selected according to the working pressure, the amount of condensate at that point and a material suited to the medium.
With this type we recommend checking operation periodically, because a blocked or stuck drain lets water into the network and damages downstream pneumatics.
A drain is mandatory at every point where condensate separates — receiver, dryer, filters and the lowest points of the distribution system. Condensate from oil-lubricated compressors must pass through an oil separator before being discharged to the sewer.
