AIGNEP INFINITY aluminium compressed air distribution system — design, material supply, installation and commissioning.
Aluminium compressed air distribution system — the AIGNEP INFINITY series.
From the point of view of energy efficiency, alongside correctly sized equipment and adequate compressed air treatment, a good compressed air distribution system plays an equally important role in your pneumatic system.
Compressed air costs money. It can account for as much as 50% of total industrial energy costs if hidden costs and possible energy savings are not identified and addressed in time.
When choosing the material for an installation, particular attention should be paid to the properties of the material the pipes and fittings are made of — in terms of keeping the pressure drop as low as possible and the air purity constant, and avoiding corrosion, degradation of the material, porosity to oil and deformation.
The time needed to build the installation is also very important (cutting, machining, welding, painting, hiring working-at-height equipment, special tools) and, as with any investment planning, so is the cost of the work.
Weighing the cost of the investment against the possible savings from a lower pressure drop, a reduced need for additional air treatment and the elimination of leaks thanks to the patented connectors, practice has shown that for most industrial applications aluminium pipework is a useful and wise investment.
TEHNOGAMA’s portfolio of equipment and services also includes building installations from aluminium pipe and the patented connectors of the renowned manufacturer AIGNEP, INFINITY series.

Unlike traditional systems built from black steel pipe, which corrodes and degrades in service, or galvanised pipe prone to limescale deposits, or thick-walled plastic pipe with reduced flow that absorbs oil and over time deforms, breaks down and contaminates the compressed air, an aluminium system has proved to be the ideal long-term solution.
Aluminium is a light, white metal, resistant to the moisture and oil in compressed air. Aluminium pipes have thin walls, so the usable bore is considerably larger than that of plastic or steel pipe, whose bore narrows in service through corrosion and limescale deposits.
Throughout its service life the pipe bore stays as smooth and clean as on day one, and maximum, unobstructed compressed air flow is guaranteed. With no corrosion there are no wall deposits either, and the pressure drop is the lowest possible.
Black steel pipe requires cutting, grinding, bending, welding and painting. Plastic pipe requires thermofusion with long cooling times. Galvanised pipe requires cutting, threading and grooving. Aluminium pipe requires only cutting to length, and connection is made by simply pushing it into the patented fittings — and the installation is done. On top of that, every piece of an aluminium installation is as reusable as it was on day one.
Send us the floor plan of the building and the layout of the points of use — we will carry out a site survey, size the distribution system and quote for materials and installation.
