The CKL-C series are cyclone condensate separators for a working pressure of 20 bar. Water droplets are removed by centrifugal force, with no filter element — so there is no replacement cost and no rising pressure drop in service.
The series covers standard industrial working pressures. It is installed immediately downstream of the compressor aftercooler or the receiver, where the volume of condensate is greatest.
An automatic drain that discharges the separated water from the system always goes with the separator — without it the water returns into the air stream.
Sizing follows the air flow rate and the working pressure. An oversized separator runs below its design velocity and loses efficiency, an undersized one increases the pressure drop in the line.
