The SFH / SFH SS series are cyclone condensate separators for a working pressure of 16 (13) bar. Water droplets are separated by centrifugal force, with no filter element — so there is no replacement cost and no rise in pressure drop during operation.
The series covers standard industrial working pressures. It is installed immediately downstream of the compressor aftercooler or the receiver, where the volume of condensate is greatest.
The SS version is in stainless steel, for aggressive media, the food and pharmaceutical industries, and applications requiring a hygienic design.
Sizing follows the air flow rate and the working pressure. An oversized separator runs below its design velocity and loses efficiency, an undersized one increases the pressure drop in the line.
