Y connector from the Aignep 89000 INCH series — angled branching. The tube is pushed into the connector by hand, with no tools; a toothed ring holds it and an O-ring seals it.
Inch sizes are used on equipment built to the Anglo-American standard and when replacing existing connectors on imported machines.
The connector is chosen according to the outside diameter of the tube and the thread size on the machine. The wrong combination is the most common cause of leaks in a pneumatic installation.
