VPG 60 is a vacuum indicator for a working pressure of 2000 mbar. It measures the pressure drop across the filter element and shows when it should be replaced, instead of replacing it on a calendar basis.
The vacuum version monitors pressure drop in vacuum lines, where a clogged element directly reduces the attainable vacuum level and extends evacuation time.
Timely element replacement keeps the pressure drop within design limits. Every additional bar of pressure drop in the line means measurably higher energy consumption at the compressor.
Indicators can be retrofitted to existing housings from our range, with a model recommendation based on the filter type and working pressure.
