Reels for electric cables keep the cable off the floor and neatly wound, with a connection box or socket at the end.
The length is chosen according to the reach of the workstation, with an allowance for the operator’s movement. A hose that is too long drags needlessly across the floor, one that is too short restricts the work.
A connection point with suitable fittings and protection appropriate to the medium is planned together with the reel.
