ABAC refrigeration dryers are intended to work with screw and piston compressors, in a flow range covering workshops and medium-sized plants.
The versions are often installed together with the compressor as a single solution, so air treatment is taken care of without additional components in the line.
A refrigeration dryer is always planned together with filtration: coarse filtration protects it from particles and condensate, while fine filtration downstream of the dryer maintains the purity class the process requires.
If a pressure dew point lower than +7 °C is needed — for pipework running through cold spaces, say, or for sensitive processes — an adsorption dryer is used.
