Autoclaving — the use of vacuum in this process, with PVR pumps and systems selected to the required vacuum level, pumping speed and duty cycle.
This covers all PVR products used in the medical sector: centralised hospital vacuum systems, dental implants, sterilisation autoclaves, leak detectors, ozone generators, laboratories and the cosmetics industry.
How we select the pump
For this application we start from the required ultimate pressure and evacuation time, the volume being evacuated and the number of cycles per shift. The technology is then determined — oil-sealed, dry claw, screw or diaphragm — along with the pump size and the accessories for filtration and control.
