PNEUMOFORE UV series vacuum pumps

These models are not only more reliable but also more efficient than any other Pneumofore vacuum pump. They cover a wide vacuum range and offer single-stage capacities from 250 to 7,160 m³/h [148 to 4,211 cfm] with residual pressures from 0.5 to 450 mbar(a) [29.90 to 16.62 inHg V]. Capacity and residual pressure extend further on multi-stage machines. The UV vacuum pump family includes several versions, described below, for different applications.

Pneumofore is one of the leading vacuum pump manufacturers, with a long tradition of quality and reliability. Pneumofore equipment is designed for energy-efficient performance and long life, ideal for a range of industrial applications requiring stable, reliable vacuum.

  • Suction capacity from 250 m³/h to 7,160 m³/h (single-stage) — a maximum vacuum level of 99.95% [0.5 mbar(a) residual absolute pressure] with constant performance up to 95%.
  • Lower electricity consumption than liquid ring pumps of the same nominal capacity. Savings of up to 70% on replacement.
  • “Plug and play” — easy to install and integrate.
  • Cooling by air, via an aluminium radiator and temperature-controlled fan. Water-free cooling avoids problems with limescale, ambient temperature and an unstable vacuum level.
  • Special aluminium alloys for the vanes provide active sealing, avoiding loss of efficiency and reducing running and maintenance costs.
  • “Closed” lubrication system keeps coolant consumption negligible.

09 versions
  • UV — CORE SERIES: models UV4 to UV100 with capacities from 250 to 7,160 m³/h and down to 0.5 mbar(a) residual pressure.
  • UV H — Able to draw water vapour, machine temperature 110 °C [230 °F] for drying processes. A unique feature, exclusive to Pneumofore.
  • UV HC — A hot-climate version of the air-cooled pumps for ambient temperatures up to 55 °C [131 °F]. Extra-large heat exchangers and fans for tropical climates.
  • UV VS — Variable speed drive from 30 to 65 Hz to optimise energy consumption, for a constant vacuum in the process.
  • UV W — A water-cooled version for installation in enclosed spaces or for heat recovery.
  • UV Ek — Explosion-proof. Installation in explosive atmospheres with dedicated electrical components.
  • UV B — A two-stage vacuum system with roots blowers as the second vacuum stage. Can be combined with any other UV version. Often used for drying pipelines.
  • UV HR — A vacuum system with heat recovery for room temperatures above 40 °C.
  • UV S — Special versions of UV pumps for custom dimensions, Ethernet, skid-mounted, stainless steel, weatherproof construction or extra heavy-duty frames.
