Omega Air · MCD B series · manual drain · manual discharge, brass
A manual drain is the simplest solution for points with a small volume of condensate and regular equipment rounds.
Manual discharge, brass. The drain is chosen according to the working pressure, the volume of condensate at that point and a material suited to the medium.
With this type we recommend checking operation periodically, because a blocked or stuck drain lets water into the network and damages downstream pneumatics.
A drain is mandatory at every point where condensate separates — receiver, dryer, filters and the lowest points of the distribution system. Condensate from oil-lubricated compressors must pass through an oil separator before being discharged to the sewer.
