GOETZE · Series 420 · angle safety valve · TÜV / CE
GOETZE Series 420 is an angle safety valve that keeps operation within the maximum permitted pressure. When the set pressure is reached, the medium is discharged into another vessel or into the distribution system, so as to prevent release into the atmosphere.
The valve is made of stainless steel, bronze and graphite cast iron, for air, water and steam, in a temperature range from −60 °C to +400 °C and a pressure range from 0.2 bar to 70 bar, with threaded connections from ¼″ to 2″ or flanged connections DN40 and DN50.
It is used in industrial applications, in the construction of process equipment, in chemical plants, power stations, biogas plants, shipyards and power plants, and in secondary areas of the food, drink and cosmetics industries.
The valve is selected according to its set pressure and the discharge capacity required, with the documentation that is a condition of pressure equipment inspection. Periodic testing is mandatory — a jammed valve is the failure with the most serious consequences in the whole installation.
