The QBE TOTEM series is designed specifically for laser applications, offering precise chilled-water temperature control over long periods of operation with varying thermal load. It is equipped with two pumps for two separate users at different temperatures (water for cooling the laser source and water for cooling the optics).
The refrigeration circuit is designed for fine control of the outlet water temperature (± 0.5 K), achieved with an electronic hot-gas bypass valve (01) which can handle widely varying thermal load and maintain a constant chilled-water temperature (on the source side).
The temperature of the water dedicated to cooling the optics is controlled by a three-way valve (02) which guarantees precise outlet water temperature control within ± 1 K.
QBE TOTEM units are designed with the smallest possible footprint and are fitted with castors for easy positioning. The hydraulic connections are at the lower rear and are fitted with shut-off valves.
