The CWB FC series is designed specifically for industrial processes. Energy saving and lower cooling costs are the key advantages of a chiller with integrated free cooling. The refrigeration and free-cooling hydraulic circuits are completely separate, which allows maximum control of the two operating modes. The range comprises 8 models with cooling capacities from 80 kW to 240 kW and is designed for outdoor installation.
Main features:
The structure consists of a galvanised steel frame with a protective polyester powder coating, which makes the CWB FC suitable for outdoor installation and protection in demanding environments.
The compressor cabinet is separated from the fan section and accessible from three sides, allowing easy access for inspection and maintenance. The hydraulic section is also readily accessible.
The free-cooling mode provides all or part of the cooling capacity otherwise delivered by the refrigeration cycle. When the ambient temperature is at least 5 K below the return water temperature, the free-cooling fans can pre-cool or fully cool the water.
Free cooling achieves greater energy savings as the difference between the outlet water temperature and the ambient temperature increases.
