From 300 to 1200 kW. The Friulair CDC series consists of air-cooled water heat exchangers with axial fans, intended for outdoor installation.
The Friulair CDC series consists of air-cooled water heat exchangers with axial fans, intended for outdoor installation and dedicated to industrial and comfort cooling applications. In industrial use, dry coolers are suitable for cooling closed systems with various process fluids, such as in the food industry, power generation, the process industry and the general sector.
The CDC dry cooler in free-cooling mode comprises 11 models with cooling capacities from 300 to 1200 kW.
The free-cooling units should be regarded as an extension of the CWB-FC series and can be connected in series with units such as the CWB, CWV or CFT series, where high cooling demand makes it necessary to use units physically combined with standard chillers.
Significant advantages come from the energy saved by using dry coolers instead of refrigeration compressors. Cooling with dry coolers in free-cooling mode is particularly efficient when the ambient temperature is below the required coolant temperature.
In a world steadily oriented towards green solutions, CDC dry coolers bring further advantages because they operate in a closed, pressurised hydraulic system. Unlike cooling towers, this avoids fluid losses and reduces the costs of continuous water treatment and system maintenance.
CABINET FRAME AND PANELLING
The cabinet frame and panelling are made of galvanised steel with a powder-coated finish (standard RAL 7035). This makes the CDC suitable for outdoor installation and for exposure to harsh external conditions. The hydraulic system is external and easily accessible.
