The CECCATO ROTAIR FOOD GRADE oil is a H1 food grade compressor oil in a 20 L pack, with a recommended replacement interval of up to 4,000 operating hours.
It is formulated for screw compressors, where the oil lubricates, cools and seals the airend at the same time. A stable viscosity and resistance to oxidation maintain lubrication in continuous duty and reduce the build-up of deposits in the separator.
The H1 (food grade) version is intended for plants in the food industry and other production where incidental contact with the product is possible.
The replacement interval depends on the duty cycle, the ambient temperature and the quality of the intake air, so the stated number of operating hours should be taken as an upper limit. The oil filter and separator are changed together with the oil, and the oil’s condition is monitored through routine service inspections.
Before and after a service call-out, grease deposits are removed from the equipment with a degreaser Tehno Cleaner.
Mixing oils of different bases and manufacturers is not recommended. If you are not sure which oil suits your compressor, send us the machine’s type and serial number — our service centre will give a recommendation and a replacement plan.
