The TECNA 9370G/9371G is a balancer with a capacity of 75 – 105 kg — g version, the highest capacity. It takes the weight of the tool and holds it in the working area, so the operator does not carry the tool’s weight through the whole shift.
The G version has a travel lock that holds the tool in the set position until released — useful for repetitive operations at the same height.
The force is adjusted to the tool’s weight; a correctly set balancer holds the tool in place without pulling up or down. With a balancer the tool does not fall to the floor when released, removing the most common cause of damage.
The bracket must carry the weight of the tool plus the balancer and the dynamic load when pulled. At workstations running in shifts the effect is measurable in productivity too, not only in tool life.
