The TECNA 9310NY/9313NY is a balancer with a capacity of 0.2 – 3 kg — nY version with extended travel. It takes the weight of the tool and holds it in the working area, so the operator does not carry the tool’s weight through the whole shift.
The NY version uses a nylon rope instead of a steel cable — it is lighter, leaves no marks on the finished surface and runs more quietly.
The force is adjusted to the tool’s weight; a correctly set balancer holds the tool in place without pulling up or down. With a balancer the tool does not fall to the floor when released, removing the most common cause of damage.
The bracket must carry the weight of the tool plus the balancer and the dynamic load when pulled. At workstations running in shifts the effect is measurable in productivity too, not only in tool life.
