The compressor station controller runs all the machines as a single system: it starts them as needed, balances their operating hours and holds the pressure within the set band.
Instead of each machine responding to its own pressure switch, the system decides on the basis of total consumption — which removes unnecessary blow-off and idle running.
The operating data is the basis for an efficiency analysis: the consumption profile shows where the energy is actually used and which measures have the shortest payback.
